Preliminary Steps:
- As a preliminary step for this art appreciation
lesson, describe to students the roll of curator and define what an art movement/period
is.
- It would be interesting to bring out a number
of random art prints for kids to view from the art movements listed in the
web quest. Ask students what they notice about the art.
Follow-up/Evaluation:
- After the web quest is complete, the teacher
could return to these prints. In order to check for understanding
of the art movements, students should now be able to identify which art period
the print is from.
